The brief
Hilton Forest Colonial approached O Boutique to supply and specify all soft furnishings for the hotel’s renovation — spanning guest rooms, the signature reading lounge, and food & beverage outlets. The brief called for a cohesive textile identity rooted in warmth, durability, and conscious luxury: materials that could perform at hospitality scale while projecting the refined sensibility the brand demands.
Every piece needed to meet Hilton’s sustainability procurement criteria, with preference for certified organic cotton, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 compliant fabrics, and low-impact dye processes across all product categories.
Design Narrative
The palette anchors in cognac amber, deep ivory, and colonial navy — colours that echo the warmth of aged wood and the weight of gathered velvet. In the lounge, floor-to-ceiling curtains in a rich amber tone filter afternoon light into a golden wash, while woven throw blankets in a cool dove grey offer tactile contrast from every seat. The bookcase backdrop, lit from within, transforms textile layering into atmosphere.
In the guest rooms, a pared-back approach prevails: crisp percale sheets in warm white, layered with a textured waffle weave bedrunner and a single hand-stitched cushion in dusty blue. Each bathroom is dressed in zero-twist towelling with a subtle dobby border — minimal in form, exceptional in hand-feel.
